One holiday morning, the sky was covered with soft gray clouds.
The air felt cool, and tiny drops of rain began to fall.
It was a rainy day when Leo and Allen met each other at the church.
The church bells had just finished ringing, and the quiet sound of drizzle filled the air.
“Hi, Leo!” Allen said, smiling as he adjusted his umbrella.
“Hi, Allen!” Leo replied happily. “Looks like the rain came to greet us.”
They stood under the church porch for a moment, watching the light drizzle.
The rain touched the ground gently, making little circles in the puddles. Birds hopped around, shaking their feathers as if enjoying a bath.
Soon, the drizzle turned into heavy rain. The sound of raindrops grew louder—tap, tap, splash! Leo and Allen looked at each other and laughed.
“Should we go home?” Allen asked.
Leo shook his head. “Let’s explore the rain!”

They opened their umbrellas and stepped out slowly. The rain fell all around them, cool and fresh. They walked carefully, listening to the happy music made by the rain.
Allen looked up and said, “You know, my dad told me it’s not good to get wet in the first rain.”
Leo nodded. “Yes, because the air can be dirty at first.”
“But,” Allen added thoughtfully, “it’s good to enjoy the rain when it has been raining for a few days. The air becomes clean.”
Leo smiled. “That’s true. The atmosphere is fresh now.”
They walked past tall trees. Water drops rested on the leaves like tiny diamonds. Some drops slowly slid down, falling to the ground with a soft plop. The boys stopped to look closely.
“Nature looks shiny,” Leo said.
Allen pointed to a sparrow sitting on a branch. “Look! Even the birds are enjoying the rain.”
The bird flapped its wings, sending tiny drops flying into the air. Both boys laughed.
They continued walking, splashing lightly in shallow puddles with their shoes, careful not to jump too much. The umbrellas moved like colorful flowers in the rain. The boys pretended their umbrellas were boats sailing through a rainy sea.
“I’m the rain captain!” Allen said.
“And I’m the nature explorer!” Leo replied.
They watched the trees dance gently as the wind blew. The smell of wet soil filled the air, fresh and comforting. Everything felt calm and happy.
After a while, the rain slowed down again. Leo and Allen stood quietly, listening to the soft sound of falling drops.
“I love playing in the rain,” Allen said softly.
“So do I,” Leo replied. “Rain makes nature smile.”
With happy hearts and wet umbrellas, the boys waved goodbye and walked home, carrying beautiful rainy memories in their minds.
That holiday morning became special—not because of games or toys, but because Leo and Allen learned to enjoy nature, rain, and simple moments together.
