A Peaceful Afternoon Ride
It was a warm afternoon in Florida.
Leo and Allen were riding their bicycles along a quiet road near the wetlands. Tall grass moved in the breeze, and birds chirped all around them. The boys felt happy and relaxed as they rode together.
👀 A Surprising Discovery
Suddenly, Allen slowed down.
“Leo, stop!” he said softly.
Near the road, they saw a crocodile resting close to the asphalt. Not far away, a long python was slowly crossing the road. Cars were coming from both directions.
Leo looked worried. “If a car comes fast, it might hit them. Someone could get hurt.”
🧠 Thinking Before Acting
The boys parked their bicycles at a safe distance. They remembered an important rule: never touch wild animals.
“We need help,” Allen said.
“Let’s call the authorities,” Leo replied.
Leo used his phone to call the animal rescue team and explained the situation clearly.
✋ Keeping Everyone Safe
While waiting, Allen stood far from the animals and waved his hands to slow down the cars.
“Please stop! Animals on the road!” he called.
Drivers slowed down. Some stopped completely. Families watched as the boys helped keep the road safe for everyone.
🐊🐍 Help Arrives
Soon, a rescue vehicle arrived. Trained animal rescuers guided the crocodile back to the water. They gently moved the python into the bushes, away from the road.
One rescuer smiled at the boys.
“Because of you, the animals are safe. You also protected drivers and children.”
🌱 A Lesson to Remember
Leo and Allen felt proud.
“We just wanted to help,” Leo said.
As they rode home, Allen smiled.
“Today, we helped animals and people.”
Leo nodded.
“Taking care of nature means taking care of everyone.”
The boys pedaled on, knowing that small actions can make a big difference.
